Operations Planning & Cost Control Executive - Planning & Budgeting, SG Warehouse

Role Overview

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Operations Planning & Cost Control Executive to drive operational efficiency through effective planning, forecasting, and cost management. This role will focus on manpower planning, inventory forecasting, and cost control to ensure seamless warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Planning: Develop warehouse operational plans on a monthly and quarterly basis, which involves forecasting of outbound volumes, overseeing inventory levels, and managing optimal inbound volume
• Cost Control & Optimisation: Build up planning model to cater for new businesses, and align with relevant stakeholders to meet required timeline, operational targets etc
• Manpower Forecasting: Analyse productivity data to forecast labor needs, coordinating with staffing agencies to secure manpower while optimising costs
• Performance Tracking: Collaborate with multiple teams to build and refine planning models and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify operational gaps
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various teams to align plans and manage costs effectively, ensuring alignment with company goals

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply chain, or related disciplines
• Prior work or internship experience in supply chain sector will be an advantage
• Good logical thinking abilities with a data driven mindset
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Able to work well within a team and independently
• Comfortable to work in a warehouse setting
