Job Description
Ensure the effective transfer to Service Operations through the Service Transition Checklist
Ensure that respective operation leads are reviewing the project documents and gather operational requirements to create a baseline of the Requirements and Checklist.
The assigned Service Transition specialist is responsible for coordinating with the various operations leads to ensure that the requirements are agreed upon and aligned with the project team or transitioning party (incumbent). Service Transition specialist (together with PM or Proponent) is responsible for securing the relevant approvals for the Requirements baseline.
Conduct and ensure Service Readiness reviews are completed. Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
Take accountability for the transition of new or changed services to BAU
Own service transition processes and ensure these are communicated and followed throughout the IT function
Support the delivery of key requirements through the Service Transition team by providing ongoing support and expertise.
Ensure that all relevant project/ system documentation, including but not limited to the Project/ System Catalog, Work Instructions, Policies and Procedures Manuals, are handed over to the various operations teams and stored in the relevant knowledge management database or similar repository.
Ensure all Service Design and end to end support models are reviewed and implemented for any changed and or new services
Ensure all process comply within internal security and technology standards
Maintain Service Catalogue and associated SLAs
Provide guidance and/or training to the project team or incumbent as requested, regarding the Service Transition Process/ Policy, and its related documents such as, but not limited to the Systems Operations Requirements Document and Project/ System Catalog.
Review all relevant transition documents and upload them in the Service Transition team drive, knowledge management database or similar repository. Upon completion of all requirements by the project team/ incumbent, the Service Transition Specialist releases the Operations Readiness Certificate (ORC) Document, and informs all relevant parties that the transition requirements have been complied/ completed.
Provide Weekly, Monthly, and Ad Hoc reports with insights on the Service Transition status of projects (and non-projects), and overall Service Transition KPIs.
Qualifications
Must Have:
ITIL V3 Foundation (minimum)
Previous experience in Service Transition and Service Design
Experience in Risk Management, Service Improvement and
Stakeholder Management
Experience in end-to-end service management
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the
organization.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have 5 years experience in a Banking or Financial
industry.
Good to have:
ITIL certification
Understanding of Banking or Financial Services
