Job Description
Qualifications
Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
With excellent physical condition
With extensive experience in construction operations, preferably in horizontal construction such as roads, bridges, infrastructure, site development, and land development for 10 to 15 years
Experience or exposure in vertical construction such as buildings, structural works, architectural works, finishes, MEPF coordination, and related project implementation is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects, concurrent work fronts, and various project sections, with strong control over project schedules, manpower, equipment, safety, quality, costs, and documentation
Strong leadership, decision-making, and people-handling skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with management, project teams, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in project planning, implementation, monitoring, scheduling, cost control, safety, quality, manpower planning, equipment utilization, and project reporting.
Familiar with project documents such as plans, BOQ, contracts, technical specifications, work schedules, billings, accomplishments, variation orders, daily reports, inspection reports, and other project records.
Proficient in MS Office applications and other project management or digital reporting tools, with the ability to prepare, review, and monitor project reports, schedules, documentation, and communications.
Able to evaluate site issues, recommend practical solutions, and ensure proper documentation and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
The Operations Manager shall be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects, ensuring that manpower, equipment, materials, schedules, safety requirements, quality standards, costs, and project deliverables are properly planned, coordinated, monitored, and achieved.
The position shall lead and coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure timely, safe, cost-efficient, and quality project completion.
The Operations Manager must be able to manage multiple projects and work fronts, resolve operational concerns, monitor project progress, strengthen site coordination and documentation. He must ensure that project requirements are properly implemented, reported, and delivered in accordance with approved project plans, technical specifications, quality and safety standards, cost and schedule targets, and company policies.
