This role will build and continuously improve the systems, processes, and daily operating rhythm of the business so the team can execute consistently without the owner having to micromanage. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial operator who enjoys creating structure, documenting workflows, and making the business run smoother week over week.

Objectives of this role:
- Create operational stability by building repeatable systems and processes that drive consistency.
- Develop a sustainable execution engine so the business can scale without dependency on the owner for daily direction.
- Improve visibility and accountability through clear workflows, tracking, and operational reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Build and document core SOPs for daily operations (step-by-step workflows, checklists, templates).
- Design and implement process improvements to reduce errors, delays, and rework.
- Own day-to-day operations management: task tracking, follow-ups, prioritization, and execution cadence.
- Create a simple operational dashboard to track throughput, deadlines, and bottlenecks.
- Standardize handoffs between steps/people to ensure work is completed consistently and correctly.
- Identify process gaps proactively and propose solutions before issues escalate.
- Ensure the team follows the defined processes and maintains high-quality execution.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong entrepreneurial/operator mindset: takes ownership and builds structure from ambiguity.
- Proven ability to build systems and processes (SOPs, workflows, documentation, templates).
- High self-direction: works independently, solves problems, and doesn't require micromanagement.
- Strong organization and follow-through; able to manage multiple moving parts reliably.
- Clear communication and ability to align people to process expectations.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Experience building operating systems inside a small business (startups/owner-led businesses a plus).
- Process improvement background (operations, project management, systems implementation).
- Comfort implementing tools/tech to streamline work (automation mindset).
- Experience creating KPI tracking and operational dashboards.
