Job Description

The Operations Manager Invoice to Pay will

Lead and develop a high-performing Invoice to Pay team in Financial Services, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and service excellence.
Oversee invoice processing activities, including invoice matching, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
Manage escalations involving invoice discrepancies, vendor issues, and payment-related concerns.
Establish and monitor KPIs to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Drive process optimisation initiatives, automation projects, and continuous improvement programmes.
Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve recurring operational issues.
Generate management reports and ensure data accuracy across invoice-related transactions.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, or a related discipline.
Over 10 years of Accounts Payable or Invoice Processing experience.
Minimum 5 years of people management experience within a shared services or finance operations environment.
Strong understanding of 2-way and 3-way invoice matching processes.
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and operational transformation.
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
