A global food ingredients company that specializes in customized seasonings, coatings, marinades, and functional ingredients for the food industry is looking for an Operations Manager (Food Manufacturing) to strengthen their team in Calamba, Laguna!

Job Overview

They are looking for a seasoned Operations Manager (Food Manufacturing) who will oversee the manufacturing (production), maintenance, and supply chain warehouse & logistics teams and will bring continuous business and process improvement to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall Operations strategy and performance, ensuring compliance with quality systems, food safety, occupational safety, and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement.
• Oversee production, materials planning, and manufacturing operations to achieve productivity, quality, and cost targets, including KPI development and performance analysis.
• Develop and manage the Operations budget and capital expenditure plans, including labor, production costs, and long-term factory expansion initiatives.
• Manage purchasing and supplier partnerships ethically and legally, driving cost-reduction initiatives, price forecasting, and supplier performance reviews.
• Direct warehouse and inventory management (inbound/outbound), ensuring efficient resource utilization, inventory controls, and obsolescence management within budget.
• Ensure effective customer service and cross-functional collaboration, resolving customer issues promptly, implementing regional best practices, and delivering required management reports and cost-improvement initiatives.

Required Qualification / Experience

Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Preferably a Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer

At least 10 years of solid experience in handling Operations including maintenance in a Managerial capacity, in a food manufacturing company
