The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of doors and windows projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to manage operations across planning, production, installation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the full project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordination & Communication: Maintain clear communication and collaboration between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Quality & Safety Management: Enforce QHSE standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Resource Management: Manage procurement, logistics, and material utilization, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support engineers, supervisors, and field staff to drive productivity and performance.
- Financial Management: Control costs, monitor project budgets, and achieve financial performance targets.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and boost overall productivity.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or project management within the construction industry.
- A solid understanding of window and door construction principles, materials, and installation techniques.
- Expertise with different types of doors and windows, including uPVC, aluminum, and glass.
- Strong knowledge of window and door systems, installation methods, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
