Role Overview:
This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing operational activities, including transportation, distribution, and supplier coordination. This role develops and enforces strategies, policies, and procedures that drive efficiency, cost control, and service excellence. The role also supervises and mentors the team while collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
This is a night shift position with a schedule of 9am EST - 6pm EST.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Plan, manage, and evaluate operations while liaising with internal teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and processes to enhance operational and financial performance.
• Monitor and analyze key metrics including quality, delivery times, transportation costs, and service performance.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and service terms with carriers and logistics providers.
• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, and schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations for product transit and delivery.
• Identify and resolve operational, logistics, import/export, and customer-related issues.
• Assess potential setups for new facilities and recommend process and cost improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inefficiencies and drive cost optimization.
• Analyze and interpret logistics data to support decision-making and improve customer service.
• Prepare and maintain reports, performance dashboards, and process documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5–7 years of supply chain / operations / logistics management or related experience (Pharmaceuticals industry is a plus).
• Proven ability to manage logistics operations efficiently and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of inventory and logistics management systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; American Accent is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster collaboration.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and reliability.
• Experience working remotely / night shift / with US-based organization is a plus
