Job Title:Operations Cost Controller
Job Overview:
The Operations Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling manufacturing costs to ensure efficiency, profitability, and adherence to budget targets. This role involves close collaboration with production, finance, and supply chain teams to identify cost drivers, implement control measures, and support strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze production costs, including labor, materials, overhead, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual production costs and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across different products, production lines, and departments.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through process improvements, material optimization, and efficiency initiatives.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to production efficiency and cost performance.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Business, with strong manufacturing experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in production cost control, manufacturing engineering, or financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficiency in cost accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production planning.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
