Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the daily production, logistics and warehouse transaction and activities. Ensuring compliance of the operations team with the standard processes. This role involves ensuring that timelines are met and delivered based on requirement. The Operations coordinator will assess the required raw materials for production and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Coordinates with Sales Department on requirement, dispatch and return. Manage inventory levels and assists in facility and equipment maintenance. This position aims to support Operations Supervisor.
Preferred Qualification
- With a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related courses
- With at least 2 years of experience in the same field
- Open to be assigned in other depots as needed
- Proficiency in production, inventory and warehouse management system
- Strong background in production planning, inventory control and supply chain management
- Proficient in using inventory management software (SAP system) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of wood products or the rental industry is a plus.
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
