The Technical Services Engineer is expected to provide technical expertise and execute tasks on all three stages of a project: pre-sales, implementation, and operations & management. Their tasks include coordination with arsenals in closing projects, designing, engaging with contractors and construction management, and ensuring continuous operations and maximum output of projects. The Technical Services Engineer is expected to execute the tasks depending on the need of the team and may be assigned to either of the three stages. They are also expected to do the role in coordination with the Technical Services Leads and may be assigned other tasks from time to time.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
O&M
Operations monitoring
- Report generation on solar systems performance under contract
- Reviews regularly solar system performance under contract
- Monthly output monitoring (in case of solar and other applicable arsenals)
- Propose solutions in resolving low generating systems, detecting anomalies
- Regular reporting to the group and arsenals concerned
- Knowledgeable in operational permit applications and monitoring
Maintenance management
- Planning and budgeting of necessary preventive maintenance
- Responsible on product warranty monitoring and claims
- Contractor coordination and engagement, as necessary
- Contractor management, as necessary
- Timely action on corrective maintenance needed
- ESH compliance
- Emergency planning management
Issue to Resolution
- Responsible for product troubleshooting and replacement (if necessary)
- Reviews incident reports, safety reports submitted by the contractor
- Propose resolution actions
- Deployment responsibility (especially on emergency cases)
- Reviews troubleshooting methodology

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering field, Solar / Renewable engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years working experience, solar/renewable energy and other electrical systems
- Have maintained a solar facility with a minimum of 5MWp
- Solar Asset Management experienced/knowledge preferred
- Knowledgeable in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace
- Willing to do travel and do actual site works and inspections
