This position is primarily responsible for providing assistance to the department head in supporting bank units to identify, assess, and mitigate various risks encountered in its operation activities. The position is also responsible for participating in the implementation of the risk management strategies and policies to protect the bank from potential losses and ensuring its long-term financial stability and security.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Supports the establishment and implementation of the bank's operational/enterprise.
- Coordinates risk management activities across the organization.
- Validates risk reporting submissions of bank units. Rates the score based on the standards set in the risk management framework and policies. Communicates issues and concerns to respective units.
- Collates all relevant operational/enterprise risk information for management reporting.
- Takes part in providing operational risk management and business continuity management training and advice business units on operational risk management matters.
- Assists in implementing strategies to minimize or mitigate identified risks.
- Stays abreast of economic trends, financial markets, and industry developments that could impact the bank's risk exposure.
Qualifications
- Graduate of finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or any related field
- At least 2 years of related experience in Operational Risk Management
- Knowledgeable in Operational Risk Management and/or other Risk types
- With experience conducting Risk Self-Assessment (RSA) / Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and developing Key Risk Indicators (KRI).
- Excellent in oral and written communications
- Can interact and collaborate with senior management
- Willing to work in Makati (onsite)
