Lead the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework—ensure our methodology, tools, and thresholds stay fit for growth, innovation, and regulatory alignment
Build and empower your team—lead a group of risk officers or associates, providing the training, direction, and support they need to perform at their best
Serve as a trusted advisor to business units—consult on risk identification, mitigation strategies, and implementation of new processes
Deploy and maintain risk monitoring tools; lead incident reviews and guide teams through root cause analysis and resolution planning
Collaborate closely with Audit, Compliance, and Legal to maintain transparency, accountability, and timely closure of audit findings
Champion Business Continuity Planning (BCP)—ensure all business units are prepared and response-ready for disruption scenarios
Own the Outsourcing Risk Management framework—lead onboarding assessments and ongoing third-party risk reviews
Embed a risk-aware culture by conducting training, walkthroughs, and awareness sessions across teams
Support Risk Committee secretariat functions and cross-functional risk initiatives
Deliver reporting and support for KPI monitoring and executive reviews
Execute ad hoc tasks assigned by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with professionalism and urgency
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in operational risk within banking, fintech, or consumer finance (at least 3–4 years in a lead role)
In-depth knowledge of risk regulations and governance frameworks applicable to the financial services industry
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—able to distill complex risk scenarios for leadership and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to issue resolution and policy development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Self-driven and organized—comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-change environment
Prior experience in fintech or startup ecosystems is a strong advantage
