Job Description

Educational Background

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or any related field.

Professional Certifications (if Any)

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME)
  • Basic Safety Training (BST)
  • Ship Security Awareness (SSA)
  • Other maritime or logistics-related certifications are an advantage.

Experience (Years/Months)

  • At least 25 years of experience in the shipping or maritime industry, preferably in vessel operations, logistics, or port operations.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of vessel operations and shipping logistics
  • Familiarity with port procedures and maritime regulations.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to prepare operational reports and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle multiple operational tasks and deadlines

Job Description

  • Monitor and coordinate daily vessel operations and schedules.
  • Communicate with port authorities, vessel crew, and logistics teams.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports, documentation, and updates.
  • Coordinate cargo operations, loading and unloading schedules.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues related to vessels, cargo, or port activities.
  • Maintain proper records of vessel movements and operational activities.
  • Support management in improving operational efficiency and workflow.
