JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated On-Site Project Administrator to join our wind turbine supplier team for utility-scale wind power projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and other partners to ensure all administrative aspects of the project are managed effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the construction project teams.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and permits.
- Coordinate communication among project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments).
- Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Support document control processes and ensure accurate version management of technical documents.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Assist with procurement activities, including tracking orders, delivery schedules, and invoicing.
- Provide support in preparing tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract administration.
- Track project milestones and support risk/issue logging and reporting.
- Conduct local purchase sourcing following procurement procedures, and operate a system for contract payment and expenditure reimbursements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or another related field.
- 2+ years of experience in administration, preferably within the engineering or construction sector.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with Windows system operation and systematic tools.
- Familiarity with engineering terminology and construction documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry compliance standards is an advantage.
- English proficiency is required. (Female candidate preferred for this position.)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Based on-site at wind farm construction locations; Routine interaction with team mainly from China and local. May involve rotational shifts and extended hours during key project phases.
