The AVI-SPL Onsite Audio-Visual Event and Meeting Support Technician will work in partnership with our Customer and Global Helpdesk to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customer at client site, with the end goal of delivering world-class Customer Service experience.
Successful candidate will be deployed at client site at their Bonifacio Global City (BGC) office. Client is a global investment bank. Person will report to the APAC Team Lead based out of Hong Kong.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage Zoom, Teams and other webinar platforms.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or any other ticketing system will be helpful.
Familiarity with VC equipment and able to operate Cisco, Poly, Neatboard and Logi equipment (training will be provided).
Support VIP meetings and Townhalls involving C-level people (Managing Directors, SVPs, and EVPs).
Assist users in setting up Zoom meetings at their workstations or in VC rooms.
Set up/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs.
Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner.
Perform regular preventative maintenance checks and housekeeping for room AV equipment.
Work with internal/external teams/vendors/field engineers for troubleshooting of AV issues and break fixes.
Must be a team player and be able to work as part of the APAC support team (China, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia).
Provide client training as needed, for AV equipment operation in the meeting rooms.
Other duties assigned as needed.
Skills, Abilities and Education desired:
Computer knowledge: Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control.
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of actual audiovisual support experience preferred
Formal education in Electronics or related technical field preferred.
Good communication skills both written and oral - in English.
General working schedule:
Monday to Friday, generally 0900-1800 but may be adjusted to fit operations requirement.
When required, may need to stay on to do overtime work after normal work hours, weekends or public holidays.
