About The Business
We fulfil orders on a dropship basis for leading Australian online retailers and marketplaces including Temple & Webster, Freedom Furniture, Fantastic Furniture, MyDeal, Bunnings and others. We operate strictly under a B2B model and do not sell direct to the public.
As an Online Sales Operations Specialist, you will report to the eCommerce Manager in Australia and play a critical role in ensuring smooth operational processes between our supply chain and retail partners. Your key responsibilities will include mapping current processes, identifying gaps, root cause analysis, and proposing, implementing and actioning improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify inefficiencies and gaps in sales and fulfillment operations, and suggest, implement and action practical improvements.
Analyse data to identify root causes of retailer and customer issues, then recommend and implement solutions.
Manage presale activities such as putting containers on presale and selecting the best 3PL for inbound logistics.
Collaborate With Buying, Customer Care, International And Domestic Logistics, And Warehouse Teams To Complement Without Overlap. Projects Include But Are Not Limited To
split label/non standard carrier setup solution, manifest decouple, interstate warehousing, DIT, goods handling and storage, TUNs, FIFO and batch management, stock mismatch root cause, returns process.
Enhance the logistics experience from both the end customer and online sales operations perspective, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across our internal systems, retailer platforms, and carriers.
Maintain regular communication with retail partners to understand challenges and provide timely, practical solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and satisfaction for retailers and end customers.
Skills & Experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel and MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ERP, WMS and CRM systems (Netsuite, Paperless or .wms, and Freshdesk preferred)
- Experience with Australian ecommerce retail platforms and domestic shipping solutions (Mirakl, Temple & Webster, Rithum, WMP, Shippit)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work both with a team and independently
- Process-focused and always looking for better ways to do things
