About the Role

Pugy is an online language school providing high-quality English education to children and teenagers aged 5–18. We are looking for passionate, energetic, and qualified English teachers based in the Philippines to join our growing international team.

As an Online English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and interactive English lessons in a virtual classroom environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport with young learners, and a commitment to helping students improve their English proficiency and confidence.

You will play a key role in supporting our students language development while representing Pugy's educational standards and learner-focused approach.

Responsibilities

* Deliver online English lessons to students aged 5–18 years old.

* Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

* Adapt teaching methods according to students age, level, and learning needs.

* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

* Prepare for classes using approved teaching materials and lesson plans.

* Maintain accurate records of attendance and student performance.

* Encourage student participation and communication throughout lessons.

* Communicate professionally with academic coordinators and support staff.

* Follow Pugy's teaching standards, policies, and quality guidelines.

* Participate in training sessions and professional development activities when required.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.

* TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent English teaching certification.

* Minimum 1 year of experience teaching English to children or teenagers.

* Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

* Experience teaching in an online classroom environment is preferred.

* Strong classroom management skills for young learners.

* Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.

* Professional webcam, headset, and computer suitable for online teaching.

* Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience preparing students for international English examinations.

* Experience teaching students from different cultural backgrounds.

* Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational technology.
