Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Online English Tutor working in US shift timings. The tutor will conduct live, interactive online English sessions for school-age learners, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and conversational skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, adapting teaching approaches to different skill levels, and providing constructive feedback to learners and their caregivers. The tutor will maintain accurate records of student progress, use online tools and platforms to manage classes, and collaborate with the Codeyoung team to continuously improve learning materials and student experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Tutoring skills, with experience supporting learners across varying proficiency levels.
- Candidates should possess Online Tutoring experience and be comfortable using virtual classroom tools and digital collaboration platforms.
- Candidates should possess solid English Grammar knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and accurately.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and a student-centered approach.
- Relevant teaching certifications, education degrees, or ESL/TEFL qualifications are beneficial.
- Prior experience teaching children or young learners in an online environment is an advantage.
