About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oncology Medical Biller with dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) experience to join our team.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end medical billing and claims processing, with a heavy focus on oncology infusion billing, drug billing (J-Codes), and denial management. You will work closely with insurance providers and internal clinical teams to ensure accurate coding, timely submissions, and optimal reimbursement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Specialty Experience: Proven experience in medical billing within oncology or specialty clinics is required.
- Billing Expertise: Strong knowledge of infusion billing and drug billing (J-Codes) is required.
- AR Experience: Dedicated experience in Accounts Receivable, claim follow-up, and denial management.
- Authorizations: Hands-on experience managing prior authorizations (PA) and insurance eligibility verification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with EHR/EMR platforms and practice management/billing software.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in coding, documentation review, and data entry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Claims Processing: Prepare, review, and submit clean medical claims to third-party payers.
- Infusion & J-Code Billing: Apply expert knowledge of J-Codes, drug units, and oncology infusion billing workflows to process complex billing correctly.
- Accounts Receivable & Follow-Up: Manage unpaid claims, perform dedicated AR follow-up, and resolve claim denials/appeals efficiently.
- Prior Authorizations & Verifications: Handle prior authorizations (PA) and insurance verifications to minimize denials before treatment.
- Payer & Policy Compliance: Stay current with payer policies, reimbursement rules, and coding updates related to oncology services.
- Collaboration: Maintain clear, professional communication with insurance representatives, clinical personnel, and administrative teams.
