About the Role

We're looking for an Onboarding Specialist who can handle large-scale hiring operations in a fast-paced BPO environment. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for high-volume hires (up to 1,000+ employees per month), while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timelines.

You'll work closely with recruitment, HR, and operations teams to make sure new hires are fully onboarded and ready to start without delays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for high-volume hiring (500–1,000+ hires monthly)
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, medicals, documentation, etc.)
  • Ensure timely completion and validation of all onboarding documents
  • Partner with recruitment teams to align onboarding schedules with hiring demand
  • Liaise with IT, facilities, and operations to ensure Day 1 readiness
  • Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate records in HR systems
  • Handle onboarding orientations and employee briefings
  • Identify process gaps and drive improvements in onboarding efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Provide regular onboarding reports (volume, turnaround time, completion rates)

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in onboarding or HR operations in a BPO/shared services setup
  • Proven experience handling high-volume onboarding (500+ hires/month; 1,000+ preferred)
  • Strong understanding of onboarding workflows, documentation, and compliance
  • Experience working with recruitment and operations teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Good to Have

  • Experience with HRIS or onboarding tools (Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Exposure to background verification and compliance processes
  • Experience handling mass hiring events or ramp projects
