At PayMongo, we're building the financial operating system for businesses in the Philippines. As we scale, onboarding isn't just a process—it's a critical moment of truth for every merchant we serve.

We're looking for detail-obsessed, execution-driven problem solvers to join our Onboarding Operations team—whether you thrive in high-volume processing or excel in complex case analysis and decision-making.

What you will do:

You'll be part of the team responsible for getting merchants live—quickly, accurately, and compliantly. Depending on your strengths, you may focus on:

High-Volume Merchant Processing

  • Review and process large volumes of merchant onboarding applications
  • Ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with onboarding policies
  • Flag incomplete applications and guide merchants toward resolultion
  • Maintain high throughput while keeping error rates low
  • Document and track cases in real time for visibility and audit readiness

Complex Merchant Processing

  • Investigate and resolve onboarding cases that require deeper analysis and judgment
  • Handle escalations from onboarding teams and assess appropriate next steps
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Risk, QA) to resolve complex issues
  • Document decisions clearly with full audit traceability
  • Improve onboarding quality by identifying edge cases and policy gaps

What success looks like:

  • Merchants are onboarded quickly and accurately
  • Low error rates and strong compliance with onboarding policies
  • Clear, complete documentation that supports QA and audit requirements
  • Smart escalation decisions that keep operations flowing efficiently
  • iStrong contribution to overall onboarding throughput and turnaround times

What we are looking for:

Core Skills

  • Ability to follow structured processes with discipline
  • Organized, methodical approach to work
  • Comfort working in high-volume or high-complexity environments
  • Clear written communication and documentation skills

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience in onboarding, operations, KYC, or compliance
  • Exposure to fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Experience handling escalations or cross-functional coordination
