Job Overview
The Onboarding & Training Specialist is responsible for delivering onboarding programs and training employees to ensure they are prepared, skilled, and aligned with company processes. The role focuses on improving employee performance through effective learning and development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end onboarding programs to ensure a smooth, structured, and engaging new hire experience
Facilitate training sessions on tools, systems, processes, and role-specific competencies
Customize onboarding plans in coordination with hiring managers based on role requirements
Design, develop, and implement structured training programs and learning materials
Identify skill gaps and create targeted upskilling and development initiatives
Support continuous learning through coaching, refreshers, and development programs
Monitor onboarding progress and training effectiveness using defined KPIs
Assess learner performance and provide actionable feedback for improvement
Improve training outcomes through data analysis and participant feedback
Standardize onboarding and training processes for consistency and scalability
Maintain and update SOPs, training materials, and knowledge base resources
Identify opportunities to enhance training efficiency and content quality
Work closely with HR, Sales, and Operations to align training with business needs
Serve as the main point of contact for onboarding and training-related support
3–5 years of experience in training, onboarding, Learning & Development, or related roles
Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience in creating training materials, SOPs, and structured documentation
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or LMS, CRM, or similar training platforms
