Responsibilities

  • 1. OMS System Ownership & Expertise
    • Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for all OMS-related processes in the site.
    • Ensure accurate, timely, and standardized OMS usage across warehouse operations.
    • Provide support to supervisors and operators in resolving OMSrelated issues.
  • Process Standardization & Adherence
    • Drive strict compliance with OMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure processes follow Lighthouse, First Choice, and DHL standards.
    • Identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track key OMS metrics (e.g., productivity, cycle time, work allocation, task completion).
    • Prepare and share daily/weekly performance reports with site leadership.
    • Highlight trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement Lead
    • Champion Lighthouse/OMS continuous improvement initiatives at the site.
    • Facilitate Kaizen activities, root cause analysis, and performance improvement projects.
    • Identify and eliminate nonvalueadded activities through OMS insights.
  • Training & Capability Building
    • Train new hires and upskill existing staff on OMS functionalities and best practices.
    • Conduct refresher training whenever new processes or system updates are introduced.
    • Ensure every department understands how to leverage OMS for daily operations.
  • Data Accuracy & Integrity
    • Maintain high accuracy in OMS master data, order details, and process transactions.
    • Coordinate with IT and central teams on data issues, system enhancements, and fixes.
    • Conduct routine checks to ensure data integrity across all modules.
  • Operational Support
    • Assist supervisors with realtime monitoring of workload distribution and labor allocation.
    • Ensure resources are properly assigned through OMS to maintain optimal productivity.
    • Support shift handovers and ensure continuity of OMSdriven operations.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Act as liaison between the warehouse, IT, regional OMS teams, and Lighthouse leads.
    • Escalate system issues, improvement requests, and enhancement proposals.
    • Participate in governance calls and performance review meetings.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness
    • Ensure the site is always ready for internal and external OMS audits.
    • Maintain documentation, SOP updates, and audit evidence.
    • Support risk identification and implementation of mitigation plans.
  • Project Implementation & Change Management
    • Lead or support deployment of new OMS modules, upgrades, and process changes.
    • Champion change management and help drive adoption across all teams.
    • Test new functionalities during UAT and validate outputs before rollout.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IE, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 12 years in warehouse operations or system-related roles; OMS/WMS experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong OMS knowledge, Excel proficiency, KPI understanding, and basic system troubleshooting.
  • Competencies: Detail-oriented, analytical, good communicator, proactive, and able to drive process compliance.
  • Leadership: Able to train staff, lead small improvement initiatives, and support change management.
  • Work Environment: Willing to work in warehouse settings, shifting schedules, and occasional on-call support.
  • Nice-to-Have Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (YB+), First Choice, or OMS/WMS platform training.
