The Co-Design / Human-Centered Design (HCD) Facilitator will design and facilitate participatory co-creation processes that generate user-centered solutions to improve HPV vaccination demand and uptake. This role works closely with adolescents, parents, caregivers, health providers, and key stakeholders to synthesize user insights into actionable recommendations and innovative demand-generation interventions across priority areas in the Philippines.

About This Role

Required Experience And Education
- Degree in Design, Social Sciences, Public Health, Behavioral Science, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Human-Centered Design (HCD), participatory design, or co-creation processes in development or public health contexts.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven experience designing participatory workshops for adolescents, parents, and community groups.
- Knowledge of gender-responsive, equity-focused, and inclusive facilitation approaches that systematically address power dynamics.
- Familiarity with national and sub-national government health systems, planning, and implementation processes in the Philippines (working with DOH, DepEd, DILG, LGUs, and UN agencies/UNICEF).
- Facilitation & Co-Creation: Design and facilitate human-centered design (HCD) workshops, lead stakeholder ideation and solution development processes, and support the synthesis of user insights into practical, scalable recommendations.
- Inclusion & Participatory Engagement: Ensure safe, meaningful, and inclusive participation across all co-design activities; facilitate active engagement of adolescents, parents, caregivers, and marginalized groups; and actively address power dynamics to promote equitable participation.
- Documentation & Prototype Development: Develop comprehensive workshop synthesis reports, design user-centered solution prototypes, and support the validation and refinement of interventions with key community and institutional stakeholders.
- Safeguarding: Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding Policy.
