About the role:
We are excited to announce a pivotal opportunity for a Payroll and HR Support Officer role to join our esteemed Orica GBS team in our Manila office in Pasig City.
The Payroll and HR Support Officer role combines responsibilities in both areas, delivering administrative assistance for payroll operations and human resources tasks for Orica employees in Mongolia, while ensuring all processes remain accurate and compliant with company policies and legal standards.
What you will be doing:
The Payroll and HR Support Officer plays a vital role in managing payroll operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This includes coordinating time sheets with site administrators, obtaining necessary approvals, and submitting them to the payroll provider within deadlines. The officer also oversees leave management, reconciles reports, processes invoices, and addresses payroll queries or discrepancies. In addition, they provide support to Dayforce users, validate timesheets, and manage endofyear reporting, including calculating expat holiday payments. By staying updated on local legislation and conducting regular reporting, the officer serves as a subject matter expert, offering compliance advice, reviewing processes, and driving continuous improvements.
On the HR side, the officer supports the local HRBP with a wide range of administrative tasks and documentation. This involves preparing official letters for training requests, salary references, visa applications, and work permit matters, ensuring all documents are properly stamped and signed. They also assist with expat visa extensions and manage HR paperwork such as binding documents and arranging medical checkups for new hires. Through these responsibilities, the officer helps maintain smooth HR operations, ensuring that essential documentation is handled efficiently and that organizational and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
