Job Description :

The Reference Data Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
. Responsibilities may include management of reference data standards database and uploads
. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to maintain database systems. Identifies and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
. Uses professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise to resolve varied and complex issues that have notable impact on the business
. Integrates in-depth specialty area operational knowledge, combined with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices
. Communicates with tact and diplomacy in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information with project stake holders or internal parties.
. Monitors performance and quality control plans to identify any issues or ways to improve systems and database designs.
. Supports projects to acquire data, manage it and present it for use in reporting and statistics, such as a Scorecard.
. Participates in discussions and requirement gathering sessions, reaching consensus and recommending solutions on issues and projects.
. Tests features and functionality in planned software releases as needed.
. Supports requirements for ongoing reporting and audit deliverables as needed.
. Generates, reviews and distributes of error reports.
. Follows-up on incident tickets.
. Performs other job duties and functions as assigned
. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
. Collaborate and partner with global counterparty.
Qualifications:
. 2-5 Years of experience required
. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are needed to satisfy all job functions
. Excellent oral and written communication skills required
. Intermediate EXCEL proficiency required
. Intermediate ACCESS or Database Management experience or IT background preferred
. Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
. Demonstrated success interacting with stakeholders both in the business as well as the Operations, Business and Technology environments
