Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Odoo Developer role based in Cebu. The Odoo Developer will configure, customize, and maintain Odoo modules to support manufacturing, inventory, sales, finance, and other business processes. Responsibilities include developing new features, integrating Odoo with internal and external systems, and optimizing workflows in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing code reviews, creating documentation for customizations, and ensuring system reliability and performance. The Odoo Developer will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and support end users with training and maintenance. As a Odoo Developer at SAWO Inc., you will be responsible for implementing, improving and maintaining Odoo ERP system backend. Moreover, you will be keep on improving our Odoo ERP system usability and development.

Among responsibilities and challenges:

• Architect and optimize Odoo ERP system backend in SAWO Ink. for performance, reliability, and scalability to meet the demands of a growing company.
• Plan and test of the clear data interface specifications and software connections between Odoo ERP System and other company systems
• Develop, deploy, and maintain server side functionality for Odoo ERP system in SAWO Ink.
• Handle yearly released Odoo ERP system upgrades
• Introduce new ideas and solutions to further improve our Odood system. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in systems and database engineering to drive continuous improvement
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence among other stakeholders

We consider as an advantage

• Minimum 2 years of experience in backend software development
• Experience in Odoo / OpenERP
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript
• Knowledge about PostgreSQL, Unix / Linux and Windows platform
• A willingness to learn and change your mind, keeping your eye on industry best practices
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, and automated testing
• Good and friendly written and spoken communication in English
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
