The Qualifications We Seek
- 1-3 years of experience in OCR data processing, document digitization, PDF conversion, or data extraction roles
- Proven hands-on experience using OCR software or OCR document extraction tools for converting scanned PDFs into editable Excel files
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, formatting, data cleanup, validation, filtering, and structured datasets
- Demonstrated experience converting image-based or scanned PDF documents into accurate Excel spreadsheets
- Strong understanding of OCR correction workflows, including reviewing and fixing extraction errors manually
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify formatting inconsistencies, missing information, and data inaccuracies
- Experience handling repetitive, high-volume document processing tasks while maintaining data accuracy standards
- Ability to follow structured data processing procedures independently
- Good English communication skills for collaborating with global teams
- Comfortable working permanent mid shift schedules supporting UK operations
Your Daily Tasks
- Convert scanned PDF documents into structured Microsoft Excel datasets
- Use OCR tools to extract data from documents and improve conversion accuracy
- Perform manual data alignment and formatting when OCR results require correction
- Review datasets carefully to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistent formatting
- Validate extracted data against source documents
- Maintain organized Excel files and standardized formatting structures
- Coordinate with the London team for dataset review and final sign-off
- Support continuous improvement of OCR and data processing workflows
