Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental conditions, helping them improve daily functioning and independence. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and documenting patient progress. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and families to ensure coordinated, holistic care. The Occupational Therapist will also educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Olivarez General Hospital in Parañaque.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with experience in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles relevant to hospital-based patient care.
  • Effective Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including providing therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Valid license and registration as an Occupational Therapist, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage a varied caseload.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and evidence-based care.
