Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide direct, on-site therapy services to pediatric clients at Lumina Therapy & Development Center in Metro Manila. This full-time role includes evaluating children's functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing interventions that address sensory, motor, cognitive, and daily living skills. The practitioner will document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and other care providers to support continuity of care. Responsibilities also include participating in multidisciplinary case conferences, educating caregivers on home programs, and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives. The role requires active collaboration with colleagues and consistent adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to therapy practice, particularly in conditions affecting function and development.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Candidates should possess competencies in Pediatrics, including experience working with children with developmental, behavioral, or physical needs.
  • Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent), valid professional licensure/registration, and adherence to local regulatory requirements.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in clinic or school-based practice, familiarity with standardized assessment tools, and the ability to develop caregiver training and home programs.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are highly valued.
