Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Balanga City, Bataan and nearby areas. The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment and intervention services for autistic children, focusing on functional skills, sensory integration, and activities of daily living. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized therapy plans, delivering one-on-one and small group sessions, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes in accordance with professional standards. The role involves collaborating closely with families, educators, and other professionals to support consistency across home, school, and community settings. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in parent training and education, contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings, and help refine therapy approaches using current best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-informed practice.
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development, with experience supporting autistic children or individuals with neurodevelopmental differences.
  • Background in Rehabilitation, with skills in promoting functional independence and participation in daily routines.
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners, and for providing clear, supportive parent education.
  • Relevant professional license or certification in Occupational Therapy, in good standing with applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Experience in autism services, early intervention, or related clinical or educational settings is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Balanga City, manage a part-time caseload, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Commitment to inclusive, person-centered care and ongoing professional development.
