As Occupational Health Specialist, you will provide a safer working environment and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Safety team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Health & Wellness Programs: Plan and conduct annual first aid and BLS training, ensure certified first aiders are always on-site, and implement quarterly health, wellness, and preventive health programs.
- Medical Care & Monitoring: Manage annual PE and pre-employment exams, dispense medicines, provide first aid, and monitor employees requiring ongoing health support.
- Clinic Administration: Maintain medical records, prepare monthly illness/injury reports and annual DOLE reports, manage clinic inventory (medicines, kits, equipment), and implement 5S practices.
- Coordination & Benefits: Process employee claims and benefits (SSS, PHIC, Pag-IBIG, insurance), coordinate with hospitals, clinics, HMOs, and conduct home/hospital visits for employees on medical leave.
- Safety & Compliance: Support sanitation and hygiene programs, ensure fitness of contract workers, and comply with ISO and OHS standards.
- COVID-19 Management: Oversee testing, protocol implementation, reporting, inventory monitoring, and case management.
- Budgeting: Prepare annual training budget for personnel cost planning.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Is a College Graduate with a degree in Nursing.
- Is a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Has 2 to 3 years of professional work experience related to Occupational Health.
- Possesses fundamental awareness in Basic Power Plant Know-How.
- Has intermediate to advanced competency in Risk Management, Safe Systems of Work (PTW, LOTO), OSH Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Emergency Preparedness & Response, and Incident Investigation.
