Occupational Health Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Health Nurse to promote and maintain the health, safety, and well-being of our employees. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering occupational health services, supporting workplace wellness initiatives, managing medical cases, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care and first aid treatment for work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct health assessments, medical screenings, and health surveillance programs.
• Monitor employee health status and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with confidentiality standards.
• Coordinate pre-employment, annual, and return-to-work medical examinations.
• Manage workplace injury and illness cases, including follow-up care and referrals to healthcare providers when necessary.
• Support occupational health and safety programs, wellness campaigns, and health education initiatives.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Collaborate with HR, management, and external healthcare providers to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid professional license.
• Certification or training in Occupational Health Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in corporate, industrial, or occupational health settings is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practice.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in medical record management and basic computer applications.
