About The Role
We are looking for a competent and dependable
Occupational Health Nurse to deliver high-quality on-site clinical and emergency care in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for patient assessment, immediate medical response, and day-to-day clinic operations, while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. The position also involves coordination with external healthcare providers and supporting broader health initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care and emergency medical services, including first aid, CPR, and early intervention for injuries and illnesses
- Conduct patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical interviews to determine appropriate care
- Manage and maintain the daily operations of the on-site clinic, ensuring readiness of medical equipment and supplies
- Coordinate with hospitals, laboratories, and external providers for referrals, diagnostics, and continuity of care
- Support medical evacuations and emergency response procedures when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, reports, and case records
- Promote and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety (OH&S) policies and procedures
- Participate in health education and wellness programs for employees
- Assist in pre-employment and annual medical examinations (PEME/APE)
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper management of clinic supplies and medications
- Support organizational initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including occasional coverage for other clinic sites if required
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active PRC license
- At least 2–3 years of clinical experience (ER, ICU, or clinic setting preferred)
- Experience in occupational health or company clinic is an advantage
- With BOSH training or equivalent OH&S certification (preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively in emergencies
- Able to work independently in a high-pressure, patient-heavy environment
- Proficient in documentation and basic computer applications
