NYS Title Insurance Team Member working on real estate transactions. Join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the processing of title insurance policies and ensuring compliance with New York State regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of the title insurance process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing title insurance policies, Building loan contins and related documents
- Conduct title searches and prepare title abstracts to verify property ownership
- Do survey readings.
- Prepare and review closing packages
- Ensure compliance with NYS title insurance regulations and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the title insurance process
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Respond to inquiries and resolve title-related issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- Previous experience in title insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a level of C1 Advanced
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Familiarity with NYS title insurance laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and title insurance software,. preferably with experience in TrakerPro Software
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
