Job Description

The Registered NutritionistDietitian is responsible for promoting and managing optimal health through nutrition assessment, counseling, and education. The role involves assessing patients nutritional and health needs, developing individualized diet plans, and providing evidence-based nutrition advice to support healthy lifestyles and the achievement of specific health-related goals.

Nutrition Counseling and Weight Loss Programs

  • Conduct nutritional assessments through interview-administered or self-administered food recalls and dietary diaries.
  • Compute and prepare individualized diet prescriptions based on assessment results and patient goals.
  • Provide nutrition counseling to patients enrolled in weight loss and wellness programs under supervision when necessary.
  • Endorse patients to physicians and participate in discussions regarding treatment plans aligned with patients goals and concerns.
  • Monitor patients under weight loss programs on a weekly basis and document progress accordingly.
  • Food Service and Nutrition Support

    • Assist in menu planning in collaboration with the Dr. Food team, F&B Manager, consultant chefs, and kitchen staff.
    • Perform nutrient evaluation of meals per serving for Dr. Food customers.
    • Support recipe standardization, portion control, and quantification.
    • Assist in supervising food production with the kitchen supervisor to ensure quality and nutritional standards.
    • Help train kitchen staff on portion sizes and basic nutrition and product knowledge.
    • Participate in food evaluations focusing on safety, presentation, and nutrient content standards.

    Ad Hoc

    • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by Management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
    • Licensed and Registered NutritionistDietitian (RND).
    • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to learn, adaptable, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
    • Basic knowledge of clinical nutrition, food service operations, and nutrition counseling principles.
