The Opportunity
This is not a traditional nursing management role. As Manager – Clinical Nursing, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care across inpatient nursing units while ensuring operational excellence, staff engagement, and continuous improvement in nursing practice.
You will oversee nursing operations across all shifts, develop and implement nursing policies and standards, and ensure seamless coordination of patient care delivery. From workforce management and bed utilization to quality outcomes and patient experience, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of clinical nursing services at The Medical City.

What You'll Actually Do
Lead Clinical Nursing Operations
- Oversee nursing operations and patient care delivery across inpatient units to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Supervise and coordinate nursing services across all shifts while maintaining continuity of care.
- Develop innovative approaches to nursing service delivery beyond traditional models of care.
Drive Excellence in Patient Care
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing care plans, policies, protocols, and standards.
- Ensure nursing practices are aligned with current research, professional standards, and evidence-based care.
- Support clinical teams in delivering positive patient outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.
Manage Patient Flow & Capacity
- Maintain visibility of hospital bed capacity and patient disposition across the organization.
- Develop strategies and policies for efficient bed allocation based on clinical and nursing requirements.
- Ensure smooth admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize capacity utilization.
- Resolve complex issues related to bed assignments and patient placement.
Champion Quality & Patient Safety
- Lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety, care outcomes, and service excellence.
- Monitor compliance with nursing standards, policies, health and safety regulations, and organizational protocols.
- Identify and address system-level issues that impact quality and patient care delivery.
Develop & Inspire Nursing Teams
- Build high-performing nursing teams through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Manage departmental performance, establish expectations, and ensure achievement of operational objectives.
- Develop staffing plans and work schedules that support patient care needs and organizational goals.
Support Operational & Financial Performance
- Contribute to budget development and resource planning.
- Apply sound financial management principles to optimize nursing resources and service delivery.
Who You Are
- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Holds a Master's Degree in Nursing or Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN).
- A Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- A member in good standing of an accredited nursing professional organization and specialty nursing association.
- Brings 6–10 years of nursing experience with 3–6 years of leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong in clinical operations, workforce management, patient flow, and quality improvement.
- A collaborative leader who can inspire teams while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
