Job Description

. Secures patient consent and maintains confidentiality of patient interaction, records and health information at all times
. Prepares all consultation rooms at the start of each shift and accomplishes daily checklist of equipment, reports defective equipment/instrument to TL or OM for immediate repair
. Checks for the completeness of supplies needed by doctors, ensures cleanliness and orderliness of the consult and procedure rooms
. Utilizes clinic information system to queue patients properly to the doctors and appropriate service areas
. Triages patients, when necessary, in order of urgency or according to local health protocols
. Receives patients, validates identity, and electronically records and reviews patient information
. Assesses and documents patient's condition, including vital signs, and chief complaint/s
. Directs patients and assists doctors during examination/procedure as needed Carries out doctor's orders
. Assures that reliable and precise documentation is completed, and essential information shared from shift to shift
. Prepares & submits request for purchase to OM on a monthly scheduled basis for supplies/consumables replenishment
