Role of a Nurse Clinician
- Direct Patient Care: Provides advanced nursing care, often for complex cases.
- Clinical Expertise: Specializes in areas such as cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, or critical care.
- Education & Mentorship: Teaches and guides other nurses, students, and sometimes patients.
- Research & Evidence-Based Practice: Contributes to clinical studies and integrates research into patient care.
- Leadership: Helps develop policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives in healthcare settings.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Nursing graduate.
- Nursing in addition to GCP/site management/clinical research experience
- 2 5 years of relevant experience.
- Registered Nurse
- Clinical Research Certification preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Basic database navigation
- Ability to multitask in both PC/Phone related tasks
- Ability to maintain a high level of client interaction/service skills while talking with clients or health care professionals via phone.
- Ability to interpret information and trouble shoot challenges as needed in order to ensure the highest quality subject experience.
- Ability to create program specific educational materials in order to ensure protocol and good clinical practice adherence.
- Knowledge of pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare business required
- Works effectively and fosters teamwork
- Demonstrates ownership of projects and carries responsibility for building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Results oriented
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
