Job Description

The Nurse and Administrative Specialist is responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees during their work hours. The primary focus of this role is to provide health condition screening, first aid, and medical assistance to employees in need during their assigned shifts. In addition, the role strongly coordinates with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Team Success Group一Admin team in maintaining accurate inventory management of medicines and medical supplies, among other administrative task/s such as Gym Benefit administration, if applicable, and/or HMO enlistment management. 

MAJOR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Employee Health Management

  • Conduct health condition screenings and administer first aid to employees who fall ill or experience accidents during their assigned shifts.
  • Monitor the health conditions of employees on sick leave or under quarantine, and report their status to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Accompany ill or injured employees to the nearest accredited hospital, if necessary, ensuring their prompt and appropriate medical care.
  • Assess and provide entry clearance for employees returning from sick leave.

Health & Safety-Based Employee Engagement 

  • Disseminate health-related bulletins and information to employees to promote awareness and preventive measures.
  • Provide support for company engagement activities that promote employee well-being and health.

Compliance, HMO, & Administration

  • Prepare and manage medicine requisitions, ensuring accurate inventory management of medicines and medical supplies within the company.
  • Assists in the preparation and submission of government-mandated requirements and documents concerning occupational safety and health.
  • Coordinate and assist newly hired employees with their Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME).
  • Serve as frontliner in managing the HMO coverage list/s of the assigned BU
  • Liaise and coordinate with HMO concerns and transactions, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Coordinates with OSH and Admin on Annual Physical Exams (APEs) and drug testing, handling related documentation.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned to ensure a safe and healthy work environment and 100% adherence to all current OSH/Admin processes.
  • Handle other administrative work as required to support the efficient functioning of the department.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The candidate must be a Registered Nurse with an updated PRC license.
  • Fresh graduates with updated PRC licenses may apply.
  • Must have successfully completed the DPA Training as administered by the company's InfoSec team
  • Willing to work onsite in our Alabang, Muntinlupa or Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu office, whichever one applies
