Pointwest Innovations Corporation is looking for aNode.js Developerwho will take ownership of backend development and API creation for healthcare applications. You will work on end-to-end SDLC activities, from analyzing requirements to deployment and maintenance, while directly collaborating with international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs usingNode.js
- Analyze requirements and provide technical recommendations
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration
- Write efficient database queries (SQL/NoSQL)
- Conduct unit testing and resolve defects
- Communicate directly with clients and participate in daily scrums
- Adhere to coding standards and development best practices
Performance Indicators
- Timely and high-quality delivery of backend features
- Low defect rates and fast resolution turnaround
- Positive feedback from client collaboration and support
- Effective communication during agile ceremonies
- Active participation in continuous improvement and learning initiatives
Qualifications
- 1+ yearof experience in application development
- 612 monthsof hands-on experience withNode.jsand databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Good written and spokenEnglish communicationskills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take part in end-to-end SDLC
- Available for mid-shift and modified night shifts as needed
Nice to Have:
- Experience withAWS/Azure
- Familiarity withAngular, .NET, or Java
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
