Your Role
As a
NOC Support Associate, you will:
- Monitor network devices, servers, and applications for performance and availability.
- Respond to alerts and incidents, troubleshooting issues according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate teams while maintaining accurate incident logs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and maintenance activities.
- Support scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and network changes.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in network operations, IT support, or a NOC environment.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and monitoring tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting network, server, and application issues.
- Basic understanding of firewalls, routers, and switches.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Understanding of forex/fintech brokerage concepts (e.g., FIX Protocol, MetaTrader platforms MT4/MT5, Liquidity Providers).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle on-call responsibilities.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
