NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer

We are looking for highly motivated engineers to join our Network Operations Center.

Key Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware and configurations.
• Oversee all production networks, servers and services.
• Provide technical assistance.
• Documentation and reporting.
• Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when needed.
• Replacing faulty network hardware components like cable, switch etc.
• Monitoring live transactions in our production applications.
• Daily check of phone modems for day to day SMS delivery.
• Maintaining applications in Google Cloud and other cloud-based servers.
• Maintaining, configuring and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
• Coordinating computer network access and use.
• Deals with power outage.
• Working in different shifts under any weather conditions or holidays.
  
  

Qualifications

• With basic knowledge and troubleshooting in Windows XP, Win7 & Win8, Win10
• Familiar with handling physical servers/desktops and their hardware
• Basic LAN & WAN troubleshooting skills
• Basic networking skills(TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, SNMP, NAT, SNAT, etc..)
• Knowledge in CentOS, Ubuntu, DNS, Zimbra Mail, PFSense firewall, Apache, Apache-Tomcat, NginX, any Cloud VPS, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is a plus
• Punctual and available to work 24x7 whenever required, including holidays
• Willing to work on shifting schedules
• With good oral and written English communication skills
• Preferably fresh graduate
