Oversee Press-Ready Output for Australia's Newspaper Publishing Network

Job Overview

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Mid Shift, Saturday to Wednesday

Days Off: Consecutive rest days

Work Setup: Onsite - Megatower, Ortigas

Salary: Earn up to PHP200,000

Possible transition to hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven media or publishing environments (local or international)
  • Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape; experience working with Australian teams
  • Excellent English communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to perform quality checks, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Agile, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in changing environments
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • High accountability, initiative, and ownership of results
  • Experience following structured workflows with strict process adherence
  • Technical proficiency in print fulfilment systems, including pagination and press imposition
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in process improvement
  • Occasional overtime or shift adjustments may be required based on business needs (e.g., breaking news or team coverage)

Your Daily Tasks

  • Manage daily production performance, including classified pagination and file output, ensuring adherence to workflows and quality standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team to sustain high performance and capability
  • Provide technical support through troubleshooting and incident resolution within critical deadlines
  • Support contingency planning to maintain continuous operations
  • Promote service excellence and consistency across all deliverables
  • Report performance insights and identify opportunities for process improvement

  • 30 Days: Build team confidence, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and learn systems and processes
  • 90 Days: Coach the team, lead daily operations, and collaborate with leadership
  • 1 Year: Lead a high-performing team, manage complex production scenarios, and sustain quality standards
