KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Opening and Maintenance:
- Facilitate the opening of new accounts, including savings, checking, and time deposit accounts, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Verify client identity and compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
- Assist customers in understanding account features, products, and services, providing recommendations based on their needs.
- Monitor and maintain customer records in the system and coordinate with customers for regular updating of account records, as needed.
- Monitor customer account activity and send dormancy notices, when appropriate.
- Coordinate with other branch personnel for account-related requests, such as passbook and statement of account issuance.
- Prepare and submit reports related to account opening and maintenance as required by internal procedures or regulatory bodies.
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns regarding their deposit accounts in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and uphold the bank's service standards at all times.
