Join our team
The IP Assurance team, a critical pillar of Service Performance & Reliability Engineering (SPRE) under Service RADAR, serves as the centralized hub for managing network faults and ensuring operational excellence. Its core responsibilities include real-time network monitoring, alarm analysis, issue troubleshooting, failure reporting, vendor response management, technician dispatch, network restoration, and handling escalations to maintain service reliability.
The IP Assurance team operates 24/7 with a highly skilled group of technicians. These experts specialize in proactive monitoring, rapid mitigation, and the efficient deployment of technical resources to address network faults across the nation.
Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
You will play a critical role in transitioning our network from reactive troubleshooting to proactive, predictive maintenance. By leveraging AIOps, modern telemetry, and continuous process improvement, you will help us ensure unmatched network reliability and customer satisfaction. Together, we will drive a measurable reduction in repetitive incidents and successfully integrate new AI-assisted troubleshooting tools into our daily workflows, dramatically improving our efficiency and first-touch resolution rates.
Here's how
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Perform detailed trouble analysis, fault isolation, and resolution for IP network elements using logs, operational metrics, and AI-driven insights.
- Maintain & Upgrade: Execute break-fix activities encompassing hardware, software, network element commissioning, and product change upgrades.
- Embrace AIOps: Leverage modern network telemetry and AIOps platforms to shift from reactive alarm management to proactive network health monitoring.
- Automate: Identify highly repetitive manual tasks and utilize basic automation scripts (e.g., Python, Ansible) and API integrations to streamline resolutions.
- Innovate: Actively evaluate current troubleshooting workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), proposing innovative ways to reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
- Investigate: Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify trends in recurring network incidents and drive long-term systemic improvements.
- Collaborate: Coordinate with on-site technicians providing hands and feet support for IP network assurance tasks, and engage with stakeholders and vendors to confirm resolutions.
- Document & Share: Maintain accurate documentation in corporate systems with real-time status updates, and actively share newly discovered workarounds, automation scripts, and process efficiencies with the global team.
