Job Description

FUNCTIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient network architectures for wireless/mobile, access, and core networks.
  • Develops end-to-end network solutions aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluates and integrates emerging technologies (5G, IoT, fixed-wireless convergence, cloud-native network functions) into existing network environments.
  • Oversees the full lifecycle of new network products and services, from concept, feasibility, and technical design to deployment and commercial launch.
  • Ensures recommended solutions meet technical feasibility, operational readiness, SLA compliance, and business KPIs.
  • Collaborates with engineering, operations, business units, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality implementation.
  • Serves as the key technical advisor for internal and external stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust network solutions.
  • Assists and manages vendor evaluations, RFIs/RFPs, and POCs to assess solutions against business and technical requirements.
  • Leads cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment across business, engineering, operations, and vendor partners.
  • Develops project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, ensuring adherence to SLAs and deadlines.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and solution specialists.
  • Discusses and monitors capacity planning, network upgrades, and enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensures comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, deployment plans, and testing results.
  • Maintains compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance.
  • Stays abreast of global wireless/network trends, technologies, and tools, evaluating their applicability for local deployment.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives, introducing new methodologies, tools, and automation to enhance network planning and delivery.
  • Evaluates vendor solutions, emerging technologies, and equipment to optimize cost and performance.
  • Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree holder preferably in Electronics Engineering or any other related Engineering/IT course

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years working experience related to Network Engineering or at least 2 years experience in telecommunication network, solutioning, and project management-related work
