FUNCTIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient network architectures for wireless/mobile, access, and core networks.
- Develops end-to-end network solutions aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Evaluates and integrates emerging technologies (5G, IoT, fixed-wireless convergence, cloud-native network functions) into existing network environments.
- Oversees the full lifecycle of new network products and services, from concept, feasibility, and technical design to deployment and commercial launch.
- Ensures recommended solutions meet technical feasibility, operational readiness, SLA compliance, and business KPIs.
- Collaborates with engineering, operations, business units, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality implementation.
- Serves as the key technical advisor for internal and external stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust network solutions.
- Assists and manages vendor evaluations, RFIs/RFPs, and POCs to assess solutions against business and technical requirements.
- Leads cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment across business, engineering, operations, and vendor partners.
- Develops project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, ensuring adherence to SLAs and deadlines.
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and solution specialists.
- Discusses and monitors capacity planning, network upgrades, and enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Ensures comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, deployment plans, and testing results.
- Maintains compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance.
- Stays abreast of global wireless/network trends, technologies, and tools, evaluating their applicability for local deployment.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives, introducing new methodologies, tools, and automation to enhance network planning and delivery.
- Evaluates vendor solutions, emerging technologies, and equipment to optimize cost and performance.
- Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree holder preferably in Electronics Engineering or any other related Engineering/IT course
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years working experience related to Network Engineering or at least 2 years experience in telecommunication network, solutioning, and project management-related work
