Role Overview
Join our cybersecurity operations team and play a critical role in protecting enterprise networks and cloud environments.
As a Network Security Engineer, you will lead the management and optimization of firewall and Zscaler environments, ensuring secure connectivity, policy enforcement, and threat prevention across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and continuously improve network security strategies in a dynamic enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage firewall and Zscaler operations, ensuring availability, performance, and security compliance
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewall policies and cloud-based security controls
Implement and enforce network security policies aligned with organizational and regulatory standards
Analyze security logs and traffic patterns to identify threats and recommend mitigation actions
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to integrate security controls into enterprise architecture
Support incident response activities related to network and perimeter security
Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to security configurations and processes
Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in Firewall Management / Network Security Operations
Hands-on experience with:
Firewall technologies (configuration, policy management, troubleshooting)
Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) or similar cloud security platforms
Strong understanding of:
Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.)
Enterprise network security architecture
Experience in:
Security policy enforcement
Incident response related to network security
Ability to analyze logs and generate actionable insights to mitigate risks
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Additional Information:
Must be amenable with possible shifting schedule at Cubao, with a hybrid work set-up.
