Network & Security Engineer (Field Operations)

We are seeking a hands-on Network & Security Engineer to install, configure, and support network and security infrastructure across multiple sites. This role requires strong field experience, troubleshooting skills, and on-site deployment work. This role earns commission for successful project implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Perform on-site network deployments, cabling coordination, and equipment rack/stack
• Configure VLANs, routing, VPNs, NAT, and firewall policies
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and security incidents in the field
• Deploy and manage IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and access controls
• Conduct site surveys and network assessments
• Maintain diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation

Requirements

• At least 2 years hands-on experience in network and security field operations
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, and wireless networking
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos, etc.)
• Ability to use diagnostic tools (packet capture, cable testers, monitoring tools)
• Willingness to travel and perform on-site support
• Certifications such as CCNA, Security+, or equivalent preferred
